Damn cold.

So much for racing this weekend I guess. What a bummer! I thought the damn cold I started picking up on Wednesday had gone away until I woke up on Saturday feeling like crap. I had a team ride on the schedule so I drug myself out of bed and went anyway, thinking I'd feel fine once I got going. I didn't actually feel too bad and managed a pretty spirited south lake loop ride. A few hours after I got home I started slowing down and by evening was pretty much wiped. I knew when I went to bed there was no way I was doing Des Moines. I'm pretty bummed out but that's how it goes. I guess I have to save up for Matava and Derby Days.
